I think, you must encrypt all password stored in accounts.xml

Sorry about my best English

That would be Gaim

Gaim itself stores the passwords like that. For security, I recommend encrypting your drive with TrueCrypt.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Thx

TrueCrypt Laughing out loud good idea Laughing out loud

Thax very much!

Maybe it would better to

Maybe it would better to have an encryption system of the passwords into Gaim itself. I have many datas on my external hard drive, and I don't want to encrypt my whole hard drive. Many softwares are able to store their own datas encrypted, why not Gaim ?

Ask them

Gaim has an active user and development community. You can request it. I may be building it into the launcher, too.

That would be really great.

That would be really great. Nevertheless, I'm a little surprised that the encryption of the passwords in the XML file had not been included into Gaim since the beginning.
