Audacity PortableSubmitted by EOBeav on September 13, 2006 - 8:29pm
Audacity portable would be a boon to anybody who does any remote podcasting, and doesn't have the same machine to rely on day in and day out. Anybody taken the portable version for a test drive yet? ( categories: )

Yeah, I'm trying to figure
Yeah, I'm trying to figure out how it knows what the pitch of songs is - is that based on the first note it hears in the song or on the one heard most often or what ?
I could be wrong, but I

Yes- I have it on my flash drive (obviously) and recently wanted to work on some podcasts with a friend. Since I already had everything (ecept a few lengthy podcasts) on my flash drive, we just met, collaborrated, and made a quick blog. It was quick and easy.
The only caveat is if you do long podcasts, you better have a large enough flash to hold them.
