Waiting

I asked for permission to try this several weeks ago. As of yet, I have not heard back. Until they do give permission, I don't believe anyone can do this app. Sad

No Exit

One other issue affecting portability is that when running in the system tray, there was no option to exit the app. You could 'stop' the engine, but the system tray app stayed running no matter what. I ditched it as a result.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

There's a load of services

There's a load of services running too. I can't even install it in Sandboxie cause of the services.

Updates?

Hello all, I was just wondering if any further progress has been made on getting bluestacks into a portable format.

I never

got a reply from them. Without their permission, this is a no go.

Bummer

I wonder why they are not allowing it...

It's probably not worth it anyway. On the same page it's clear they log a lot of data on their users.

Just waiting...

Don't expect one...

In my comment above from December of 2012, I stated that I had asked for permission. To date, there has been no response. I can only conclude that they are not interested in granting permission. Too bad...
