I have only used this a wee bit and it seems very good, better than NVU as a javascript (& general web) editor for my uses. It's open source, and still in beta, but it seems very close already to being able to run from portable media - only required setting that I know of is a per-session temp dir ('workspace'). Is it suitable for portableapps? Ben »

I'll take a look.
Make sure to get the Zip version from http://aptana.com/download_windows.php#current
However, it needs JRE, but comes with it's own that it says is only used by itself. I don't know if that would be portable.
