how to delete the search engine???

i made a mistaken click to add as my search engine,i want to delete it.when i entered d:\PortableFirefox\firefox\searchplugins,i just found google search while not msn.how can i delete it?is msn not restored in that file???

Not sure I understood the question.

But to add search plugins, go here:

https://addons.mozilla.org/search-engines.php

To delete them, in older versions of FF you need the SearchPluginHacks extension here:

https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1563/

In FF 2, you can delete or reorder them by clicking Manage Search Engines in the search bar dropdown menu.

Profile??

I'm not 100% sure about this but it might be in your profile:

On my U3 drive it is here:

x:\System\Apps\3C9F7B3F-D55C-42cd-8537-B878518B73AF\Data\profile\searchplugins

and on my hard drive it is at FFP1.5.0.7\Data\profile\searchplugins

Check out yours and delete it if it's there.
