Is it possible to release a beta version for 4.0?
I've been running beta 2 for some days on a test box; it is really fast and I did not experience any crash so far.

LibreOffice 4.0 will be the biggest release ever, hundreds of bug-fixes and new features!

Please release a beta version to help testing all those changes, only 1 month to go.
The developers have done a tremendous amount of work to establish a very stable and predictable release train (https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleasePlan) from the gigantic OpenOffice code base mess, a bit comparable to Firefox, so it would be very much worth the effort to build https://portableapps.com/apps/office/libreoffice_portable/test to support their efforts.
