Log file problem with 1.5beta2

I used Portable Gaim 1.5beta1 for a while, and created a number of log files. I upgraded to 1.5beta2, but now those logs are inaccessable from within Gaim (yes, I saved/restored the .gaim directory; the log files are still there, they're just not being read by Gaim). Any idea what went wrong?
