Here is a good WordPad-like word processor that does .rtf, and at 104KB, it takes up almost no space.

(Download the "Floppy Office" package of software and got to the folder called Kpad. Grab the Kpad.exe file and put it on your usb stick.)

Thanks! You should check out the rest of the software in Floppy Office. It has several useful programs that are already portable.

AbiWord, OpenOffice or SciTE get my vote as the word/text processors of choice.

...but for someone with a small drive, a little word processor that does RTF and TXT, which almost everything supports, is invaluable.
