Firefox Bookmarks

I have two profiles of FirefoxPortable and I'd like to combine the Bookmarks into one of the profiles. Does anyone know of a way to do this?

Thanks

View All Bookmarks. Export

If you View All Bookmarks, you'll see the options to export and import bookmarks. I think you can export from one and into another. Note that I don't think Backup and Restore will work, but I'm not sure. I'd suggest backing up your profile first to be safe.

Thanks for the quick reply John

I was under the impression that this replaced existing Bookmarks not merged them. Ok, I'll give that a go and see if it solves the problem.

Worked a treat!

Thanks for the tip John Wink

It created a ton of duplicates, which is a shame, but it saved me trying to copy them manually, saved a lot of time.

Extension

I figured it might. You can use something like Bookmark Dedplicator to clean it out. I'd recommend backing up first, of course.

You can also copy and paste

If you're setup to run both instances at the same time (even if only for this process), then you can simply copy from one to the other within the Library. You just have to keep both Library windows open at the same time when you're doing the copy and paste operations--select and copy what you want in the first window, paste in the second window.
