FF creates file in c/...

Hello,

I use FF 2 portable, it runs on direction d/portableapps/.... The programm creates a pluginreg.dat in c/documents/user/...*/mozilla/firefox. It creates a folder "profile" too, but there's no file in it. If I delete the folders, firefox will create the pluginreg.dat again with next start.

I don't think that's correct. Does somebody have this problem, too?

Regards,
Teuchtlurm

*anwendungsdaten, don't know the englisch name for this folder.

IT does that

But the launcher automatically cleans it up when you exit it Firefox. Unless of course you're using the unrecommended allow multiple instances functionality.

I have this file left on my computer also...what does the "allow multiple instances" functionality mean and where can it be changed?

Its a very advanced

feature and is enabled by the PortableFirefox.ini
