ClamWin: Vista ready?

It is probably trying to access the system drive or other folders that require admin rights, in Vista all programs are installed and set to work at the user level (no matter if you have admin right or not), to do things such as change a file located within the program files folder, you must start the program with admin rights, just right click the file and select "Run as Admin..."

To understand what i mean, using Winzip, zip a file and then try to unzip it to the Program files folder, anywhere doesn't matter, and it will not allow you too, but it you run Winzip as admin, it will work.

It is a protection for you. Sometimes it can be a hassle. To set it to work as admin all the time, right click the file and go to the compatibility tab and check the box that says run this program as administrator. That will make it run every time as admin, and you won't have the problem anymore.
