DLL Files, etc.

Why isn't there a subfolder in PortableApps/Common Files for DLL files? I have counted the DLL files on my drive and there are many repeated DLLs. Why not have such a folder?

If I were to run it on Linux using Wine I could manually create that folder and use symbolic links. Is there a similar method that would work on Windows?

Specific Versions

There are often multiple DLLs with the same name but different versions. And different apps expect different versions. So managing all that for hundreds of apps would be a mess. And the apps couldn't be packaged any differently as a lot of people use them without the platform as well so they need all those DLLs with each app.

That said, I'm planning on having a shared resource folder for the platform to pull additional ones from for apps from other websites that aren't fully portable to share.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
