I think Notepad++ is the best text editor for programmer, especially for PHP programmer! ( categories: )

It is recognized and incorporated in PortableApps menu structure when placed in an appropriate subdirectory.
i copied the notepad++
i copied the notepad++ directory to :\PortableApps\Notepad and sure enough the menu picks it up all by itself. This is great! however it also picks up nppIExplorerShell.exe which I don't want in the menu. Oh! it picks up "uninstall.exe" too.

there is already Nvu
there is already Nvu Portable you can use.
nvu isn't a text editor
...it's an html editor (that can do text too).
