Hi,
is it possible to block automatically unwanted application updates ?
(For example, I don't want to upgrade Firefox to version 57. Even the new Adblock+ became real crap in this release. And the other good extensions such as Noscript, Flashgot, Flashblock and many others are not compatible).

Rename your FirefoxPortable folder to FirefoxPortableOld. Note that it is insecure due to unpatched security issues. A better option is to use Firefox Portable ESR which will support existing extensions and get updates through April 2018.
