Hello John,
some apps, which are outdated, contain vulnerabilities, so the updates are really needed for security reasons.
And some apps are many versions behind (like Thunderbird).
So, how is the status of these apps?

I've had several outside things affecting my availability and focus, some family some personal some financial. I've been at the animal hospital the last few days. Thunderbird in particular requires a rework of the launcher, not just an update, to actually be portable. I set aside most of the last few days to catch up and am doing the same today and tomorrow. Apologies for the issues.

Dec 15: I've gotten most app updates out in the last few days. I have tomorrow set aside to port the new Firefox launcher changes to both Thunderbird and SeaMonkey to handle the updater updater registry and APPDATA bits. And do the updated Geany and Puzzle Collection launchers.
Dec 16: I've got every app updated, including the 5 that released today, except for Thunderbird and SeaMonkey. The launcher updates are nearly complete. I have to finish them and test them in 8 virtual machines (Windows 7 through 11 both 32-bit and 64-bit) before building and pushing out. I may have some time tomorrow between the animal hospital and therapy, otherwise I'll finish them up on Saturday.
Dec 18: Thunderbird has been updated. There's a small bug I wasn't able to squash despite spending a few hours poking around Thunderbird's 2GB of source code. I thought it was more important to get it out than perfect. Plus it's 1am. I'll push SeaMonkey out tomorrow with similar launcher updates.
Dec 19: SeaMonkey has been updated and doesn't suffer from the same bug as Thunderbird. All apps are now up to date.
