Reg Files?

With the new release, it was working fine, but I just put it on another flash drive, and I started it, and when I finish setting up a new database, it drops something like pssafe.key reg entries in the root of my drive...I tried reinstalling. No luck. I tried downloading again too...:S

It doesn't delete the entries that I can see so far even after closing KeePass.

You're creating keys

You're creating key files and telling it to save it to that drive... so that's exactly what it's doing. Key files are normally used to place a special key file on a floppy or other removable drive for a specific locally-installed KeePass database. that way, you can't open it without the key (the diskette or USB drive you have it on).

In a portable scenario, you don't normally create them since it wouldn't serve a purpose anyway. So, when you create a KeePass database within KeePass Portable, you're not supposed to select to create a key file.

To remove it, click File - Set Master Key and change it to be just a password.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Ohhhh! Okay.

You're right:P.

Cause last time, I just stuck with the defaults, but this time, I clicked on my drive letter.

Sorry bout that. Sticking out tongue
