Rapid PHP IDE

This software is not free, but it's pretty cheap - I think around $30.

In version 8 of Rapid PHP, they added a capability to install it to a USB Stick.

I would like to see the ability to add this to the PortableApps menu, even though you would need to buy the RapidPHP sofware separately. Perhaps similarly to how XAMPP needs to added to the menu separately after it is installed.

To test if you can use this

To test if you can use this under PAM, try copying this app's folder(s) under your PortableApps folder on your external. If the main executable is an .exe file and it is in the highest folder of the group of folders, PAM will find it. If there are multiple .exe files in the folder, you can try to rename the other ones .e__ (e followed by two underscores). That way, they are still executable (at least under WinXP) but won't be picked up by PAM. I'm using this technique with a number of otherwise portable applications that aren't in the formal PAF layout.

This works....

Just tried it and it works fine. There is only one .EXE and it shows up with the full name in the app browser.

UPDATE: There is also an Inno Setup created which is the unins000.exe file. The underscore thing didn't seem to work for me (may be PICNIC). So I just added .rem to the end and if I want to uninstall the app - I'll remember.
