Windows 98 issues

I installed 98 in a VM (VMWare). However it doesn't like my usb drive!? How would I get 98 to work with it??

my guess...

is that you either dont have the VMwares usb adapter enabled or you need to download the driver for your spesific usb drive. what brand and model do you have and what VMware are you using?

Well

If you made an image with the ext of vmdk you should be able to use qemu for the emulation, Just make a simple batch script and you should be able to use it. It's Right now that Windows 98 doesn't like installing under qemu correctly

Not VMware

It may sound strange, but it is not VMware; it is that Windows 98 doesn't work with USB natively, so, you need to install your usb drivers (check the manufacturers site). There is a non-MS experimental solution, a universal drive, but I don't know where.

Blue is everything.

Ohhhh

I see (I think) If you do a search you'll see that there is a universal USB druver for windows 98 (I can't remember where I found it but search for it on google) and you should be able to get usb support for Windows 98
