1. I do not know if when I get the programs all downloaded and want to copy the folder over to my usb drive, will it format it first? Will a simple copy of the folder work? There does not seem to be any kind of beginner section where all these things are answered.

2.I have anther portable program app called [name of illegal software removed]. Can that app be on the usb drive and have this set of programs also on the same drive or will one or the other of them wipe out the other?

Hi all. My problem is I have multiple tracks of audio recordings of original Audacity portable. Some could export them as MP3 playback and other 8 continued (all tracks (28) belong to the same project) to be exported as MP3 playing but no sound, only noise, take up space (they are recorded, you see the graph) . That may be happening? the defective copy and save as new project, but is the same. The format is escuhan audacity perfectly, but other programs will. Thanks for what you can help me. salutations

The computers I would be using Portable Apps on has blocked the use of .EXEs and .BATs. Is there any way to run the application with a .JAR file because I know these aren't blocked.

I use 4-5 beta apps with portableApps platform which all of them works great (at least until now). PortableApps platform updates the stable apps as you know. But I check also everytimes from this site by searching my Beta apps too.

Please make auto update also for beta apps please...

HI,
I used my portable apps today and when I went to eject the stick I get a message box popping up saying " External Exception C000006 "

I only have to hover my mouse pointer over the menu and I get the message.
I cant run any programs or do anything with the menu.
It looks like I will have to shut down my laptop so that I can take out the stick.

Anybody know why this is suddenly happening.

EDIT :- I managed to eject by shutting down the menu in task manager.
