Submitted by sleepymangt on June 23, 2007 - 1:59am

Hi. I have recently been working on a program that is perfect for working off of a USB drive. I have already created a USB mode for the program where you can run it off of a usb drive but someone brought me to this site and i felt i wanted to get the concensus on it.

Check it out! (I have my own website with EVERYTHING it does :))

Ok I made a simple front for mplayer using nsis. SO this is pretty much self promotion but also kind of not. I am releasing this not because I want to but people said I should make this public for everybody so here it is

the interface is completely made using nsis and is currently beta. I released it under the gnu gpl as I believe all software should be made available for free instead of having to pay for some commercial stuff.
Anyways some tests would be nice and some suggestions to make this better too.

Deskwin Portable

Submitted by ghd on June 19, 2007 - 10:58am

I have created a portable version of deskwin as I sometimes need to work with virtual desktops and would like to that, as well, from my USB drive.

DeswinPortable_1.6.1_beta

I did put a beta label on it as it has only been tested by me, the beta refers to the portable version.

The portable package is built upon John's PuttyPortable and should confirm to porttableApps.com
