Command Prompt logoCommand Prompt Portable 2.1 has been released. It's a simple utility that allows you to add a link to a customizable command prompt to the menu in the PortableApps.com Suite. You can change the colors, prompt, columns, window title and more by editing a simple batch file. This release adds Windows 7 support and an improved installer. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Suite. And it's open source and completely free.

It has all the same great features as Pidgin, including support for AOL, Yahoo, MSN, ICQ and Jabber networks, but there's nothing to install on the local PC. This new release updates Pidgin to the current 2.5.8, fixing a Yahoo issue. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Suite. PortableApps.com Installer 0.91.7 Released

logoPortableApps.com Installer 0.91.7 has been released. The PortableApps.com Installer allows you to quickly package your portable apps in an easy-to-use installer without having to write or compile any code. This removes some unneeded warnings from logs, fixes a bug with custom CloseEXE and corrects an issue in the Japanese translation. No changes need to be made to existing PortableApps.com Format apps with this release. The PortableApps.com Format Specification and installer are now available for outside developers to use and can be used freely with free open source and freeware applications. Commercial use is available by contacting PortableApps.com.
