This launcher is fast but don't duable click on the icons it dosen't take them back.I have to restart the bar to free the mouse.
That was a bug in the drag & drop feature - it should be fixed in the next release.
I just tried the new beta and its awesome.

I agree, I also don't like having to confirm actions that are not irreversible. If I can I will indeed add this kind of checkboxes in confirmation dialogues.
I plan to add an overlay (a mini-icon) on top of the icons that are part of the quicklaunch group.

Well, I think that sounds too much like the name of a text editor.
You would be the greatest man alive if you could add an option to make the bar vertical. I have a widescreen monitor so I don't have much room on the bottom or top, but I would like to put it on the side.
You can actually resize the dock to make it whichever shape you want, including to make it vertical. Simply click and drag the bottom right corner of the window.
