...

With the drag-and-drop nature of the Mac OS, I'm surprised all Mac apps aren't already portable.

No need for drag and drop

A suitably packaged Mac ... um package can run an execuable sraight off of removable media. Plus none of that crazy Windows registery stuff with UNIX .rc files.

Wrong ;D

Lol Mac Apps may be able to run from any device/folder but it still makes settings files (usually in the \Library\ or \Users\\Library\ folder) so therefore they aren't portable by the PortableApps.com definition. BUT check out http://www.freesmug.org/portableapps/ It has some awesome OPEN SOURCE (YAY ^_^) PortableApps for the mac Biggrin And most of them are Universal Binary so they can work on both Intel/PowerPC macs ^_^
oh and BTW MACS IZ TEH AWESOMEZ! iPwn Blum
Thanks,
