It says here
https://portableapps.com/support/firefox_portable#plugins
"Flash is available as an extension. Just click the link"
I do. Follow the text (even restart) and then go to YouTube to be greeted by:
"Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player."
Huh... so how does this work?
Sure I could just download and install what they suggest, but something tells me its not going to be portable, eh?
Try this:

Things have got to get better, they can't get worse, or can they?
That worked.
Might be a good idea to have the right instructions on the main page
There is also an installer from portableapps.com in the Beta Testing Forum, I have not used it recently

just search for "NPSWF32.dll" on a popular internet search engine (wink). you should easily find a download for this file. i found it as a zip file. unzip it and put it in the "plugins" folder in the firefox "apps" folder so you'll have something like . . . E:\My Browers\FirefoxPortable\App\Firefox\plugins\NPSWF32.dll. it works perfectly. hope this helps . . .
It is best to get the file from the legitimate adobe site

And your link (Tim) worked fine, so no reason to search any further
