How to backup bookmarks and (toolbar) settings?

I would like to have an easy way to backup (and restore) my current bookmarks and toolbar settings of my Firefox portable WITHOUT having to install (big) third party apps like MozBackup.

Furthermore I don't need a backup of add-ons.

Just built-in settings + bookmarks are enough.

How can I do this?

I would prefer instructions for copying files (which ?) in WinExplorer

If you use the

PortableApps.com Platform, the easiest way is to use the built in Backup Tool.

If you only want to backup the bookmark and toolbar settings, you'd have to find out what files these settings are stored in and simply copy these around. Or you could copy the whole /FirefoxPortable/Data folder to a backup location. Copying the whole folder is probably the easiest thing (apart from the Platform backup tool)as you dont have to find out what files you need to worry about.

If you have the Platform running,

on the right hand side there is a button called "backup".

If you dont have the menu installed, you can get the latest version here.
