I would like to add SharpDevelop to my portableapps menu but it doesn't seem to allow me to add it since the folder structure is like this:
SharpDevelop
-bin
--program.exe
I.e. the executable is a subfolder of the program folder.
I cannot change this since it requires this file structure.
Any help?

Adding programs to portable apps in subfolders
like starthere.exe ftp://ftp.heise.de/pub/ct/listings/strthere.zip,
put it into the mainfolder, choose an icon and add it to the starthere.exe with
resource viewer, edit the ini and it should work. Description is in German http://www.heise.de/software/download/special/pimp_my_stick/9_5 , but it should work, else come back

Oh that is perfect, thanks!
I used resourcehacker to change to icon to match as well
you´re welcome..
BTW, you can edit the starthere name, also...
"Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisici elit, sed eiusmod tempor incidunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. Ut enim ad minim veniam, quis .." Friday Next -
"May The Schwartz be with You!" Yogurt the Yoda
Isn't it easier to create the appinfo.ini to tell the menu the name & icon?
but a different way of making the exe visible...;)

Then you have to mimic the PAF structure. This way you don't have to move anything around, rather you can just copy a few files into the directory and go.
