New in This Release

In this release, Firefox has been updated to 3.0.11 (release notes) and has an improved installer and launcher with fixes for a registry issue on Vista.

Auto-Update Issue

If you allow Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition to auto-update, some non-personal files may remain on the local PC. This will be addressed in a later release. Installer / Format

Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition is packaged in a Installer so it will automatically detect an existing installation when your drive is plugged in. And it's in Format, so it automatically works with the Suite including the Menu and Backup Utility.

Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition is available for immediate download from the Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition homepage. You can get the German release from the German homepage and the French, Italian, Japanese and Simplified Chinese releases from the Localization page. Get it today!

Thank you John, as always, for all the work you do Smile

Things have got to get better, they can't get worse, or can they?

Looks like the glorious Mozilla Corporation finally managed to get rid of their old cache bug with this release. My FFPortable kept displaying webpages wrongly and distortedly, if FF had been running for some hours (am using FFP with a hard disk cache). Allegedly that bug had been corrected several versions before. Certainly not in the FFPortable versions I had been using since then. Funnily, the page most affected by that bug always was! The bug hasn't appeared since yesterday. Knock on wood...

Edit: Oh [####]! The bug just reappeared. Screenshot of wrongly displayed homepage and forum.
