Bug Fixes / No app changes needed
We're doing simple bug-fixes as they come up and impact releases as part of the pre-1.0 phase. Once they're all handled, it'll be relabeled as 1.0 and promoted more widely.
You don't need to change anything about your apps as part of these updates. Your exact same app configuration from 0.91 will work with 0.91.5 and everything in between. The last config update was May 15 when we added PNG icons to help better display your app's icons. That same config will be able to be used with 1.0 as well when it comes out.
For post-1.0 updates
I'd like to suggest an option to appear after a program has been compiled. At the screen that appears once the program is compiled, add an option to compile another program, similar to AppCompactor's option. Would be helpful so that the program does not need to be launched again manually. Also, if you could add a Review screen that willd display, in essence, the compiled AppInfo file so that you can ensure the settings are correct and modify them if necessary before continuing. Sometimes there is a typo of mine and I notice it once the program has been compiled. Then I must edit AppInfo and re-compile, wasting some time.
Review
It may be tough since it is all a part of the same process, but I could possibly integrate a 'review' screen to review the main settings (off by default). That would be post-1.0 as it would require some reworking.
The final page in NSIS has two checkboxes and we're using em both right now. I'd need to switch to a custom Finish screen to do it (which I'm debating so we can add additional info).
I do appreciate the response.
I do appreciate the response. I look forward to all future releases of the program, especially post-1.0
Thank you for all of your hard work John. Keep it up
