Need suggestions for the best MMORPG that you know of. Does not need to be Open Source, just Free. Please include a link to the homepage of the game and a short description of the game. Any that are World of Warcraft clones would be nice. And yes, I know there are Private Servers available for WoW that are Free but I would prefer not to use those. Thank you.

That is a comprehensive listing of almost every MMORPG some old some new some not even released yet. There is many free ones on the list. I don't do fantasy MMORPG like WOW or anything but i found a fun one with Starport Galactic Empires. Basically you are a ship and you have to capture planets and such. You also have to make money to buy new stuff for your colonies to prevent them from being taken over by other people. Very active development and I think good game play.
Enjoy!

The game is set in a medieval fantasy world, dominated by three races: the Deva, who represent light, the Asura, who represent darkness, and the Gaia, humans that possess an affinity with nature.
Each major installment of the game is referred to as an "Epic", similar to Lineage II's "Chronicles". The current installment is called "Epic 4: Revolution".

It can be played on dialup, but I would not suggest downloading it on that slow of a connection...

And still seems the best one available so anyone else interested?
If so the new installer makes it possible to create an installer that downloads the base app much like Java. Any devs interested?
