Op.com does not terminate properly.
hi stormal,
what do you mean by "op.com does not
terminate properly"?
Can you elaborate?
thx

A truly U3 compliant application will terminate and cleanup when the U3 launchpad's "Eject" button is ticked, thus avoiding U3 Launchpad error messages upon U3 Launchpad termination/disconnection events. I find that this Opera 9 for U3 lacks such behavior.
U3Action.exe is merely managing the launch and termination of Opera_usb.exe.
Therefore, either Opera_usb.exe must manage the termination of Op.com or perhaps even U3Action.exe's -hostCleanUp command may be utilized. I have not attempted just such a chore with U3Action.exe as yet as I was only enlightened as to U3Action.exe's availability upon reviewing the Opera 9 for U3 manifest which in turn prompted me to check out the U3 website.
Take a look at the U3Action User Guide PDF.
U3Action's "-GhostParent" or "-Adopt" options should be useful to manage Op.com's shutdown.
