Version 2.1.0 runs significantly slower than its predecessor (v2.0.7). I suspect this may have something to do with the status bar. Anyone know why this may be?

think this is due to the new way of testing files to see if they are identical, I guess this only occurred in Sync? I am looking at ways to speed this up for the next release, thanks for the report
Hello,
Same issue, so I'm still stuck with the 2.07 version.
Hope this problem wil lbe solved soon !
you disable the streams (see the help file Sync page for info on this) does the speed return to what you expect?
I am having this same problem. I've disabled streams as indicated in the help file and nothing has improved. I'm syncing large amounts of data (300GB) over a network. When I use the newest version 2.1.2 it takes 9+ hours to sync even the smallest amounts of data (+/- 5gb). When I use the older 2.0.7 it takes 1-2 hours.
I've noticed this too.
Before I found out about Toucan I was using batch scripts, and Toucan is noticeably slower (although much nicer and easier to configure ).
I have captured two screenshots showing the difference in network usage with both ways. It seems this board doesn't allow pictures to be uploaded, but I can send them to you if it helps.
Hi,
Same issue with the 2.2.0 pre-release version even when streams are disabled !
Still hoping for a fix soon.
Thanks
