last year we changed in our company from Eudora to Thunderbird.
Some clients had also the need for encryption, so Enigmail and gpg did the trick.
I'm now testing the Portable apps version of Thunderbird+Enigmail+GPG. It works fine, but I wan't to make it a littlebit more for our company needs (We install our client pc's unattended, so the less interaction the better).
Is it possible to get some guidelines to get the sources, how to edit them and create a new installer ?
Thanks in advance,
It just unzips. This is a function of 7-zip. If you need, I can make an installer with hard-coded paths.

Thanks for your help.
I want to make it "less" portable ;). We install our client pc's using an unattended installer. The profiles are installed on the second drive(D) to avoid painfull dataloss when re-installing Windows. Therefore we install thunderbird on D:\thunderbird and we use the standard location for the mail boxes (d:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\Thunderbird.
why don't you just install the regular apps then?
