Just a couple of quick pics of some new stuff I am cooking up for Toucan 3:
What you can't see is the fact that Toucan should now run off a read-only device, anyone got a good way of simulating one if you haven't got one to hand?

Ordinary CD
Isn't an ordinary CD read-only?
Just write the package to the CD, and then try to run from the CD.
BTW, the scripting "language" looks pretty capable.
Dont
have any CD's handy, on IRC it was suggested to just write an ISO and mount that so I am trying that at the moment.
And yes, it is actually Lua with a number of Toucan functions exposed
EDIT: An ISO did it, question solved.
OK
I would have been happy to lend you a CD. I'll send it to your email address, OK?

PS - Yeah, that's like faxing you a check, right?
Nice
Nice, Steve. Folks will dig it. (and maybe digg it)
Here's hoping this nets you another 750k downloads. You just surpassed it and I updated the stats line on the Toucan page. 750,664 at this moment.
