SpyDLLRemover Portable

I can't download SpyDLLRemover Portable 3.0 i keep going in circles between
https://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/spydllremover_portable
and
https://portableapps.com/apps

Is the download link broken or what?

Referrer

The only reason that would happen is if you are linking to it from another site (which is not permitted). Or if you're using an odd extension to change your HTTP Referrer to an invalid one (which is interpreted as the same thing).

Thanks, it was my refcontrol

Thanks, it was my refcontrol extension.
It's weird that it worked for utorrent, toucan and java but not for spydllremover and foxit reader.

Why / Landing Page

Why would it be sending FAKE referral information instead of just leaving it blank, as many users do for privacy? This will cause images not to load on many sites (which have settings to prevent hotlinking).

I added in a landing page for folks that run into this instructing them on what's going on.

SpyDLLRemover Portable

I have tried to download "SpyDLLRemover Portable" several times and from 3 different PCs.
Every time it comes up with an error.
Apparently some people have downloaded it OK.
What do I have to do?

Re-Read This Thread

The only reason this would happen is if you are sending a custom referrer via a misbehaving extension. That's interpreted by the download server as your trying to link in from a website other than PortableApps.com which isn't allowed (to prevent download leeches).

There's no reason at all to be sending custom referrers to random sites but oddly some people have extensions installed to do just that.
