hey guys, just to let you all know, due to some circumstances I'm cutting my self off from the internet just for a little bit, I just have some personal issues that I have to fix and they can't fixed until I cut myself off of the internet, don't worry it's nothing serious but it's serious enough to affect my walk with God as a Christian.

I don't know when I will be back but back I will be soon, you all have been such good friends and I don't want to loose that, I wish I could let you guys know when I'll be back but I don't know, it could be January, could be April, for all I know it could be a year from now, either way I need to deal with my issues, anyways enough of my ramblings, y'all take care now.

I agree that computers can interfear with our walk with God. if i could do it I would. as i have a need to email. i do try cutting down on my internet access. I like your stand on this. May God bless you in your stand and May you be able to keep up the Good fight.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God our Father Be with you now and forever more. Amen.

An Old Irish Blessing
May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

This exactly, and I know exactly how you feel. I mean, I'm not as serious with the religion (still identify with Christianity though) but I understand how various Internet issues can affect one's offline state of mind. I met my wife on the Internet, and it's worked out good for us, but it left me open to take things online personally, and it's taken some time -- a good three or four years -- before I could disassociate Internet drama from my life.

Not sure what your situation is exactly, and not asking either, since you didn't specify, but what I've learned is that the person you appear to be to others is mostly what you say but also what others assume as well. If they compliment you and mean it, you probably deserve it. On the other hand, if they go for the throat and they want blood, chances are you don't deserve it. You might have said something in jest and forgot a wink emoticon or you might have posted a valid opinion they disagreed with and they overreacted. Point is, just about all Net rage is overreaction. There's really no need to get worked up over people online. They don't know you personally. They're reacting to your words, but also other things that are going on that you have no control over.

God bless, be well, and happy holidays.
