I have always wanted my files to behind a password so that if someone got a hold of my Jump Drive they couldn't use it!

since this is the only real solution to the problem.
There are available from all major manufacturers now, cost somewhat more then the cheap once, but it is the answer to the problem. It is probably impossible to have a solution based on software suitable for any stick.
Ironkey, disk2go, kinstone etc have such sticks.

This is the conversation that will not die! There are plenty of other threads on the forums about this already, such as this one which basically lead to the conclusion that short of folder/partition encrypting software such as TrueCrypt, you're out of luck.
There are USB drives that offer a hardware solution.
They have built in encryption.
Iron Key is one.
