When using the @date@ variable in the backup location PATH (as per screenshot in link below) Toucan errors because the folder does not exist.
It also errors if the higher level folder does not exist (i.e may have been moved) in this example 'BACKUP'.
Basically Toucan is not creating the higher level folders automatically.
I am using Windows OS'es.

still happen in the latest pre-release? I have a feeling it might it which case I will get it fixed in time for the final release

Tested it with the pre-release and yes the error still occurs i.e. does not create any higher level folders if they dont exist or create the folder as specified by the @date@ variable.
I noticed the Help files are not part of the toucan interface at the moment will this change to be like v2?
