gpg: error loading `iconv.dll': The specified module could not be found.

Hello everyone,

I am a new user and am having some issues with PT. I keep getting the following error: gpg: error loading `iconv.dll': The specified module could not be found.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

"1) error: iconv.dll not found. Ok, no problem. iconv.dll downloaded and put to ..\PortableThunderbird\App\gpg - works fine." from this post.

...

That dllfiles.com link is broken, Lurk. It says "An error occurred: Link expired."

Oopsie!

Here is the page for it. Or just goto dll-files.com and search.
Thank you, Bruce. Biggrin

Scroll Down

Or you can just scroll down to a direct download link.

Missing File

It appears that the file was inadvertently left out of the release of Thunderbird Portable 1.5.0.5. You can get it here: iconv.dll. Place it in the ThunderbirdPortable\App\gpg directory. Please drop a note back if that does it for you and I'll update the download package.

Yep...

That did it for me - downloaded it, put it in the appropriate folder, and no more error message. Thanks.
