PortableApps.com Installer / PortableApps.com Format
TeamViewer Portable is packaged in a PortableApps.com Installer so it will automatically detect an existing PortableApps.com installation when your drive is plugged in. It supports upgrades by installing right over an existing copy, preserving all settings. And it's in PortableApps.com Format, so it automatically works with the PortableApps.com Suite including the Menu and Backup Utility.

I get the following running this:
And it created an empty dir at %appdata%\TeamViewer.
And a reg entry HKCU\software\TeamViewer\MachineFallback
ditto
I get the same message (updated to current version via Manage Apps > Check For Updates)
It does seem to still work though
I get the following running
Hi there,
We will change this behaviour once again with the next update, so there won't be a message showing up again. However the message itself doesn't affect the functionality of TeamViewer.
In regards to the folder which is created. We'll have a look at that. The portable version shouldn't create any new folders if you didn't change the .ini file and run it from the dedicated folder.

Have we got the wrong
Have we got the wrong installation file? Will this be corrected?
New Version
The new version displays this message to let you know you're not in enterprise mode. The functionality is unchanged. The files left behind are a bug and are being reported to the publisher (we don't publish TeamViewer Portable, TeamViewer themselves does).
Good!!!
It took a long time for the correct new version.
yep..
it does take quite a bit... i wonder if whoever does the updates needs a notification? i check daily for about 30 apps for my own DropBox toolkit... i could notify whoever makes the portable TeamViewer since I am always checking...
if thats the issue that is...
since theres already another update out...
EDIT BUG:

Teamviewer does TeamviewerPortable
As John said above, the developers of Teamviewer itself are responsible for the portable version. I doubt they need to notify themselves when there's a new version to portabalize. I expect once they become more comfortable with the PAF format you'll see the portable release almost mirroring the standard release in terms of availability date.
thanks for your feedback
Kane3162,
Thanks for your feedback. We are aware of your comments but also need some time to do the changes and to release the new version.
BTW: The message box doesn't show up anymore by now.
