Since he has his full name in his profile, would it be okay to list his full name on the team page? Or has he previously said he doesn't want that?

The \FreeUPXPortable\DefualtData\ directory is spelled wrong, so if you're using the default locations in the code (and it looks like you are), the settings file in that directory will never get used.

At the moment that is not a problem for there is only a empty .ini file. And I do apologize for the mist spelling, just keep in mind that I am Dyslexic. Wink Smile Blum

I'm just trying to have the program work correctly. No harm, no foul. Smile

LOL man thats not a problem, thank you for pointing it out. Smile

I know this isn't exactly the right place, but I can't find a support forum for this app rightnow.

I must inform you that there appears to be something wrong with this app.
I've tried to compress Firefox Portable and after that I could not start Firefox anymore. So I decompressed everything, and still it wouldn't start. The only solution was to reinstall Firefox Portable once again.
So compression works definitely but apparently it compresses something it shouldn't compress.

B.T.W.:
I've tried it with upx commandline version and that does a good job.

From the early days of portableapps.com I had some app called appcompactor. It uses upx too and it can compress Firefox portable without any problem.
Whatsmore, appcompactor has a nice feature so you can add complete folders to the compactor. Adding file by file is definitely not useful. If you want to compress portable Java that way it takes much too long to add all files separately, so please add this feature (it is already possible in UPX, so it is only a matter of adding the right switch).
And believe me: compressing portable Java really makes a difference, so you should try compression of portable Java.

If you compress one of our launchers (FirefoxPortable.exe) it'll break. Permanently. So do NOT do that.

This is for *advanced* UPX compression selections on multiple files. It serves a different purpose than PortableApps.com AppCompactor. For what you want to do, you shouldn't use this.

Like John said this is not to be used on the Launchers them self's. This is for very advanced user(s). If you are going to use this for compressing an application, only use it the main program and not on the Launcher or it will not work at all.

The FreeUPXPortable entry in the Updater DataBase is missing the "DownloadPath=" line, please add the following between lines 1067 & 1068:

DownloadPath=Outdated download link removed

Fixed it and confirmed it's working with the updater. Sorry for the oversight.
