AMP Font Viewer 3.86 Portable DT2

Leaves a folder in user\application data\. Nice app apart from that. Could switch from NexusFont to it, perhaps.

Perhaps rename the Installer to "AMPFontViewerPortable_3.86..." to make it more consistent (same name in all places).

A nice piece of software, and quite usable. Unfortunately, I use a different default sample text containing some Unicode characters:

Zwölf Boxkämpfer jagen Victor quer über den großen Sylter Deich.
0123456789 (.,:;-*!?') ÄÖÜẞ äöüß »« „“” ‚‘’ … –— ♂♀
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.

This to easily check if a font contains some important characters for »real work«, i.e., typesetting.

AMP Font Viewer seems not to support input of unicode code points into the text sample box. I contacted the author about that, let’s see what the response will be.

Btw, the download file is called »FontViewerPortable_3.86_Dev_Test_1.paf.exe«, is that the correct one? I’d probably call it »AMP_Font_Viewer…« if the program is called like that, otherwise one tends to miss it in the folder with about a zillion other Portable Apps installers … Same hold true for the folder, of course. I always look for »AMP«-something, but it’s under »FontViewerPortable«.
