is it possible to PAF MakeMKV?

Program: MakeMKV

License: FREE while in BETA stage so PAF it before it crosses over to STABLE (which then it will cost $70, per http://videohelp.com/tools/MakeMKV/version-history )!

Description: [paraphrased from http://MakeMKV.com ] A one-click solution to decrypt/rip/format converter otherwise called "transcoder" for DVDs AND Blu-rays (and some HD-DVDs, remember those?) to the OPEN-source MKV container format withOUT messing with the HD AUdio OR VIdeo streams in any way! The MKV format can store multiple video/audio tracks with all meta-information and preserve chapters. There are many players that can play MKV files nearly on all platforms [e.g. VLC...don't know about MPC-HC...latter got Linux version?]. (And there are tools to convert MKV files to many formats, including [BACK to] DVD and Blu-ray discs.)

Additionally MakeMKV can instantly stream decrypted video without intermediate conversion to wide range of players, so you may watch Blu-ray and DVD discs with your favorite player on your favorite OS or on your favorite device.

• Reads Blu-ray discs protected with latest versions of AACS and BD+
• Preserves chapters information
• Preserves all meta-information (track language, audio type)
• Fast conversion - converts as fast as your drive can read data.
• No additional software is required for conversion or decryption. [take it to mean on-the-fly decrypters like SlySoft.com AnyDVD HD or DVDFab.com Passkey.]
• Functionality to OPEN DVD discs is free and will ALWAYS STAY FREE.
• All features (including Blu-ray decryption and processing) are free during BETA.

Other: There are Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X versions (I know, PA.c only deal w/ Windows only).

Computer administrator privileges are required on Windows to run the beta version. This is limitation of Windows SCSI application programming interface. Eventually MakeMKV will not require administrator privileges to run.

I take ''Eventually MakeMKV will not require administrator privileges to run.'' to mean when it crosses over to STABLE?! But even before then, would ''administrator privileges'' stop it from becoming PAF-able?!

...OR is there better (FREE) alternatives for making MKVs those of you who have used others aside from MakeMKV, please share your experience/opinion. I've only tried MakeMKV so far.

THANKS, Senor/ita!

Nope

As it is trialware, the publisher will likely not allow people to repackage it. Plus, this software is illegal in the United States.

PS - Please stop updating this post over and over. It keeps showing up in the Recent queue as updated.

THX! do u know then free alternatives that's one-click/easy?

and maybe just create launchers only?

''PS - Please stop updating this post...'' To avoid this, I hope u can add/implement forum feature where members can create ''DRAFTs'' before committing FINAL copy to the forum. I remember this feature in a forum, just don't remember which particular one...

Overly Detailed

This is a forum. You're not composing War and Peace Blum You're including WAY too many extraneous details that are completely unnecessary and actually distract from the actual point of your posts. Everything you said could easily be done in standard request format in about 3 lines.
