Thanks! I'll give it a try. I'm assuming that the "?" after German means that it MAY be available in English. lol
The release notes say "Added translations", but I haven't found an option to change the localization. Maybe it automatically changes the language.
The keyboard layout QWERTY-USA has been added, so maybe an english locale too.
If an english locale is included, I'll create an english package too.
Thanks for testing.
The program seems to work fine (Windows XP SP3), but it's all in German as far as I can tell. I hope there is an English translation floating around somewhere because I really want to use this.
Ok, thanks.
Seems that I need to contact the author and ask at least for an english GUI. (lessions could be created on your own). Maybe the PortableApps.com community could help improving Tipp10.
The developer is working on other languages. An english GUI will be introduced in one of the next releases.
Nice! I can't wait to try it out.
Happy birthday dear "Tipp10 Portable 2.0.3 Development Test 1", happy birthday to you!
I wish you all the best and many downloads, good feedback and no bug reports 8)
The Tipp10 developer has released a beta version of Tipp10 2.1.0. It includes an english UI (unrevised). Help is needed for new lessions (NEO and QWERTY keyboard layout) and english documentation, website, lessions ...
More informations (how to help?) could be found here (german website).
Happy birthday dear "Tipp10 Portable 2.0.3 Development Test 1", happy birthday to you!
How does the cake tastes of?
Because you said that, I had to quickly test its PAF compliance. Here's the report (I haven't looked at it manually at all except to note that you're missing the "Development Test 1" from the PackageVersion - you renamed the installer to fix that, wrong way):
Two years have passed and what was probably valid back then is no longer

And for the records: I won't do a new release just for the sake of a new release. It's stable and these PAF changes are minor. Furthermore I guess that we will celebrate the next birthday before official release too.
Thanks for testing!
A refresher is likely to get it noticed more for release. In particular, if you switch to PAL it's much more likely to go forwards (this should be considered to have been in testing for quite a while!).
One point, though: it can't go in English, can it?

that's a good one.
The next version can go in English. See above.
Want to switch to the beta build so we can get some more testers on this? I think a release soon after the official 2.1.0 of the portable version would make sense.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
We don't need more testers.
Also there is a beta for the local install version only, not a portable one. The local version writes settings to the registry and the database to %UserProfile% whereas the portable version is portable and uses its own folder.
And btw, 2.1.0 is around the corner.
You've only had 1 tester respond and Chris pointed out some packaging errors, so I'd say it could use more testers and an update to fix the issues. As most folks here speak English, I'd say that's the reason.

no news is good news.
Tipp10 Portable is in testing for over 2 years. The base app is very popular and has over 1 million downloads (not bad for german only, huh?).
Why should I do an update which adds 2 *.png and modifies the appinfo.ini? No change to the launcher is required. Sorry, but I don't waste my (and Patricks) time and bandwith that way.
Particulary with regard to 2.1.0 final this month.
all was clean here (Win XPSP3, limited)- I just never posted it.
Id say its better to wait for the next version with an update.
