I've just posted a pre-release of FileZilla Portable 2.2.29. The only major change is that the launcher and installer are now Vista compatible. I'd like a few folks to give this a once-over before I send out the actual release, please
FileZilla Portable 2.2.29 Pre-Release 1
Thanks.
I am testing this out right now. I copied the filezilla.xml and trusted certs.dat over from my 2.2.28 portable install and all my sites loaded up fine in 2.2.29. Certs worked too. Transferring some files to my xbox now with no problems...
If needed I can try this out on vista too...
The more people that try out the new apps on Vista, the better.

I noticed in vista the "minimize to system tray" icon is hidden behind the "minimize to taskbar button" when using the default vista skin. I know this probably has nothing to do with you, but maybe you know the channels to get looked at.
Otherwise app started and ran fine for the transfers that i tried under vista
thanks john! and keep up the good work

Just about every app out there with a custom button near the others for minimize to tray or something similar won't work quite right on Vista until they update it. (And I don't think many folks will update before Vista's really out n about in January) But thanks a lot for testing it out

I'm running Windows XP SP2. I installed it to my USB drive without trouble and it works very well. I added, deleted, and modified entries via Site Manager and all tests were successful.
