As initial point I extract a installer file with Universal Extractor or 7-zip. If I now use the extracted program exe-file with the command line, will anyhow created registry entries or some stuff in the filesystem? Or is it possible, that occur in this special case entirely portability?
to catch registry or file system stuff, you need something like Regshot where you can monitor things. Starting it from the commandline is no guarantee for portability.

Surely it´s the same in case of starting the extracted program exe-file with double click or?
The only way to be sure is to use a program that can monitor it like Regshot or Filemon/Regmon.

Thank you for your immediate reply.
only if you for example start some old selfrunning exe from the cmd, then it will not be listed in the recent files list of registry, since only things from windows itself, e.g. from windows explorer will be registered there.
Otherwise if it is a windows software, it will run and do all the writing and changes to any parts windows allows it.

I understand. In summary it`s therefore absolute necessary to use Regshot to achieve reliable informations. Adjacent to Regshot exist another program named Total Uninstall. Which of the both programs is more advisable or Nevermind?
what you want do with it.
regshot is the tool to study the behavior of a program and to plan what steps have to be taken if portabilization is planned.
I do not have total unistall, but ok, this is simply to unistall something as it says probably.

At the first moment I also assume, that the app Total Uninstall is only useful to uninstall programs. But you can look here in the paragraph "Monitor running and/or setup" for more informations.
But I think, it would be the best to use Regshot.
Also thank you for your effort to answer my post in the Off Topic Forum. Actually it seems to be very difficult to find a solution. My attempt to uninstall and then try to install new was also unsuccessful. I think there only stay a cold comfort to use the batch-file.
the total unistall is payware therefore not so wide spread probably. I used to have number of such apps, one was called cleansweep for example. In fact any uninstaller has to work this way, but things sometimes fail.
