Firefox portable in french ?

Hello.

I had to install Firefox portable on my laptop because it is impossible to re-install the standard Firefox.

- Is there a french language file to install ?

- Is it possible to install plugins like Webdevelopper and Firefox Sync ?

Yes

Hello,

Localized versions are packaged on this site, thanks to the PA.com team. Thank you Smile

First, go to the Firefox page here. Then, click the "Languages" link just under the "Download" button to get here. Now, you have access to localized versions, including french.

As for extensions, I use WebDevelopper without any problem but I don't know (and don't care :)) if it leaves any traces.

Regards,
Guillaume

Also

The various language packs and dictionaries are available here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/language-tools/ - some are missing thou, these are often found on the national Firefox/Mozilla support sites (this is at least true for danish, anyway).

My own solution has been installing FFp in English, then adding Danish language pack and the Quick Locale Switcher addon, and installing the da, de and en-UK dictionaries I use from the above mentioned page. Besides this one, I use about 10 other add-ons, and haven't found any problems with doing so as of yet.

Alternatively, the language packs are (all) available at the mozilla releases website (here) under (version number)/(OS)/xpi/ - the current 3.6.13 packs for Windows are here:
