Typo in the news of the release of Maxthon on homepage. Should be "Feb 17."

I'm tired of people living in their fantasy world when the clock is ticking away, and when they are unable to see reality for what it is.

From what I saw of Maxthon, I liked it, but I was forced to go back to Firefox because it constantly freezes when I run it from my flash drive, sometimes for several seconds at a time. Seems like it's doing an awful lot of writes to the drive, even more than Chrome...

I notice a slight pause when loading pages, but, in my experience, it's actually better than FFP at saving history without locking up (a lot). I was disappointed though, when I couldn't find out how to change those settings.

Running from the harddrive, it actually runs pretty fast. If we could get out a couple more browsers, then maybe we can do a speed comparison in the future...

For now I'm sticking to firefox.

I guess my drive is just slow, then. But I haven't seen Firefox lockups like that since 3.0, so I never expected it with a Webkit-based browser. Oh well, I still prefer Chrome anyway.
