well, not really "of course".
Might be an online installer deal, thus the question.

so you want to in advance download the package the online-installer downloads?
That is possible. Place it mext to the online-installer and it will pick it up.

Most official apps are offline installers that are downloaded and executed by the updater. AFAIR only µtorrent is an online installer - but maybe some of the new additions also, didn't check lately...
They are kept in the %temp% folder during installation. If there will be an option to keep them for offline distribution - don't know. The only way I know of for now is to manually download desired PAFs from the Applications list here.

I think there a few more.
My concern is that
1. I need to verify virus detection before install
2. I archive all installers
I hope the updater does
a. detect need for update
b. download (with permission case by case)
c. install/update upon positive permission
Just being safe and I have certain computer habits.
