Hi guys I have just downloaded and installed a flash plugin for firefox portable and it doesn't seem to solve my problem...Well here's is the problem: At the university I cannot seem to access acrobat.com at all since the machines keep saying I need the latest version of Flash so i can create and share pdf files...How do reslove this problem
If your University has blocked the installation of Adobe Flash Player on its PCs, which wouldn't surprise me, then the answer is you probably can't, because they don't want you to.

"I need the latest version of Flash so i can create and share pdf files"
To view .pdf files you need Adobe Acrobat Reader, or Foxit Reader, not Flash Player.
If I remember correctly there is a flash based PDF creator on Acrobat.com (which is why he feels he needs Flash to create PDF's).
Personally, I use a PDF printer (like BullZip PDF Printer) or if I'm using a locked down computer that I can't (or shouldn't) install stuff on I use a program that has an "Export to PDF" functionality built in (like LibreOffice [or OpenOffice.org] or The GIMP), and if I can't get it to export the PDF exactly as I want it to be, I use PDFTK Builder to change it to be how I want.

Oh, sorry!
To write PDF I use PDFCreator, wich I recommend! But it's a printer, so he can not install on a restricted computer...
Like you said, the "Export to PDF" is the best choice for him.
I thought about recommending PDFCreator but although it looks great, and it's open source, I don't have any personal experience with it yet, and I know BullZip's PDF Printer is fairly simple and easy to use, despite it's apparent lack of some features (from the looks of it PDF Creator can do more, but I don't know how usable the UI is ... yet).

It is a nice and easy program. It is the one I use for creating PDFs.
Hmmm, Perhaps we need to go back a step:
pholoba: The previous response gives you a wide variety of approaches for the creation of documents in PDF format - There are also Firefox Add-ons that can save Web Pages in PDF format; and free online services that can convert existing documents/files (if you can/are prepared to upload them and have them e-mailed back).
But, what kind of documents do you want/need to create & share in PDF format? If we know the answer to that, we might be able to suggest a 'preferred' option.

I have found 7pdfmaker. This is also not a printer, so it does not need any admin rights, but is a converter. Works portable, special portable version from the author.

unfortunately it is not completely freeware, to make it work properly it costs abt 10euro now.
So far all docs and picts or other things I converted with it were looking nice, no problems with tables or other things.
