PortableApps.com Installer / PortableApps.com Format

Iron Portable is packaged in a PortableApps.com Installer so it will automatically detect an existing PortableApps.com installation when your drive is plugged in. It supports upgrades by installing right over an existing copy, preserving all settings. And it's in PortableApps.com Format, so it automatically works with the PortableApps.com Suite including the Menu and Backup Utility.

The only issue 9.0.600.2 had was related to language switching; that issue is still present. I tried fixing the bug and sent John a test build or two, but he was still able to find situations where the fix wouldn't hold. Eventually, we just agreed that getting 10.0.650.0 out the door was more important than fixing the language bug, so I'm working on a fix for the next release.

"The question I would like to know, is the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe and Everything. All we know about it is that the Answer is Forty-two, which is a little aggravating."

I disabled language handling entirely, so now users can set the proper language themselves.

I noticed that, but I thought I was supposed to work on a fix so both Iron's built-in language switching and Platform-based language switching would work as expected?

The user being able to change the language on their own when used without the platform is more important than automated language switching. *Then* we worry about automated language switching (if it can be done properly).

"updated apps are more liked Smile (even with some need-fixes)"
thanks for outrightness about that.
